An unexpected sea voyage to the northern regions of the great northern sea in the very beginning of the Eighty Years' War. Chased by the Spanish fleet the Dutch rebels led by William the Silent (Vilhelms Klusētājs) and William II de la Marck (de Lumē de la Marks) suffer through a week-long snowstorm. Madness, nostalgia, visions, suffering, tremendous noise, ice, absence of god, faith, despair, determination, delirium.
